Hi all,

I just returned back from seven weeks in Thailand and loved everything about the country.

I currently have a job in Canada that allows me to be 100% remote, I’ve consulted a few different agency’s to streamline the DTV process.

My question is I’m getting quoted between 14,000 thb all in (their fee, review and embassy fee) upto 16,000 thb for their fee and 8,000 thb embassy fee. If the Canadian embassy fee is $650 (15,100 thb) alone. How are some of these reputable agency’s charging as low as 14k all inclusive?

Thank you,

I was looking at recommended VISA agencies and the top two that came up via an AI search for the service I was looking for (90-day Non O followed up later by longer term, most likely WP) were Thai Visa Centre and Siam Legal. Does anyone have any direct experience with either of these agencies?

Need some information regarding DTV.

Planning to move from a Non-B visa to a DTV (Remote Work) visa. I've been in Thailand since 2022. I'm going to cancel my Non-B visa and work permit next month. I already have a KBank account, but as I'm planning to switch to a DTV, and there might be a risk of the bank account being closed, therefore, I've opened two more accounts (UOB & Krungsri) as backups. I also have got a Thai driving license. I've had 500k THB since December 2025. My overseas company will provide all necessary documents/certificates, and my salary is being deposited into the same bank account from which I'll show the 500k THB.

I was thinking of applying from Laos. Or would it be better to apply from Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, or the Philippines? I don't want to apply from my own country as the application process is more complicated and they want to see a 6-month 500k balance. By the end of March, I'll have the 500k for 3 months, so I was hoping to apply in early April.

I don't want to apply by myself and want to get the help of an agency. I was considering Issa Compass, but I hear they are very slow in communications. However, they do guarantee that if a visa is not approved, they would refund money (not sure if it's the full amount, including the visa fee, or just the agency fee) or apply a second time without a fee.

Now I want your valuable suggestions regarding the following matter:

1. Which embassy would be better? I cannot get a Vietnamese visa right now as it's difficult for people from my country to obtain one. However, I can go to Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, or Sri Lanka. I just returned from a holiday in the Philippines in November 2025, so I'm not sure if I can get another visa to go there again within such a short period.

2. Any recommendations for a reliable agency that you have had personal experience dealing with?

Please feel free to share any other suggestions or tips that you think might be helpful in getting a positive visa outcome. TIA 🙏

Hi,

I've been in Thailand for 5 days on a 60 day visa exempt tourist visa I am from Australia 57 years old. I am going to apply for a Non O retirement visa here in Thailand, I am living with my girlfriend at her house in Udon Thani, can anyone recommend a good legitimate Visa company to use in Udon Thani....I know it is more expensive and possibly harder to do from inside Thailand, but that is the choice I have made.

I have the funds necessary 800,000 Thai baht to deposit into a Thai bank account, I would appreciate some good references for the best agency to use.

Thanks in advance this group has some good info and I look forward to your advice.

Cheers Vaughn.

Hello!

I am looking for a good Business Visa Agency!

I am currently in the process of opening up a coffee shop in Bangkok. I am hoping to obtain a business visa out of it. Does anyone have any Visa agencies that they have either worked with or agencies that they recommend?

Thank you all in advance for your help!

Is there anyone who has experienced a border visa run from Bangkok post covid in 2022 and able to comment? It seems there are very few agencies that provide this kind of service post covid for obvious reasons. Immigration has also changed the rules to limit these to two times per calendar year. I am Canadian and looking for agency/company recommendations as i need to do one by Nov. 3. I'll be happy to report back my experience either way. Thank you.
