Firstly Thailand is not connected to Haag convention (apostille). Any documents have to be legalized. Secondly, you have for being able to apply being living legally for three consecutive years. Applying time is limited and only 100 permits a year are issued for each nation. Sufficient Thai knowledge as well language skills (verbally) are required.

As 180 days a year resident you have to declare and eventually tax in Thailand. A DTA can be reduced or terminate tax but certificates have to be legalized- here the problem starts…

Get a car instead. Motor bikes are for people that wish to die soon, believe that they are 30 years younger than they are, or like to inhale dust & fumes and sweat

Actually 3 accounts. One for the immigration purpose. One for foreign intake for the tax authorities and the third for daily expenses (as I don’t wish to share my daily routines with tax authorities)

Well you ought to know the harsh regulations. If you turn yourself in the punishment- ban to enter Thailand is more human then if they catch you. Anyway crossing at checkpoints the border they will discover you. Illegally trough the djungel or boat over Kong River in the dark? Or the southern border? I don’t know but definitely not safe

Well if you are a European citizen you can go anywhere in Europe and demand the same rights as native citizens, having free health care ie. Bulgaria should be the best affordable country for the moment
