I have a 90 day non-immigrant b visa that is set to expire March 2 however, all the documents I require for the one-year extension of stay are not going to be ready until March 1, which seems a little bit risky
I was wondering, just to be on the safe side, if there is an easy or easiest or somewhat not too difficult Boarder crossing I can do from Thailand should I need to leave the country and get another 90 day visa Thank you very very much
This is a ways off topic and pretty idle. But I thought there might be some folks here with knowledge to comment productively. I was talking a lady the other day (she was not asking for help or money- I am just intrigued) and she had come here to do an Ed visa from Myanmar. Around when she was due back we had both corona and the revolution there... I don't know the details, but she overstayed. It is still not safe to go to Myanmar so she is basically hiding. I was curious if that was needful or if there are programs in place for people in situations like hers.
I am Aussie intending to apply for retirement visa. Overstayed on my tourist visa a couple of days, and while extending it l find now cannot apply for O visa while on a visa that has been overstayed. Was told must exit country and reapply for O visa on new tourist visa. I wonder if you might recommend convenient destinations from Bangkok. Long bus trips are not as easy as the used to be and I was considering a flight to Phenom Phen. Is this a good border bounce, in the vernacular? And do you know if I will be required to have an exit flight ticket when I re-enter Bangkok by air? I will take a bus to avoid that kind of situation if a land border cross is more convenient.
I have to say it is pretty handy having you guys and your experience to call on. Cheers to you for that. And I will happily turn that into a few beers if given the chance
