most of them do. If you don’t have a bank account it’s expensive. Or you can get the visa before you enter the country then you can get a bank account when you arrive and there are cheaper agent options without that hurdle

you cannot work in any form IN or FROM Thailand without a valid visa. You don’t need a work permit for remote work but you need either a dtv or ltr visa

You can also work remotely even on the retirement ltr which you cannot on the non o. Just frustrating to reach the passive income number.

yes because he wants an o visa which he needs to convert from a tourist visa. It isn’t confused. You can’t convert without a bank account. And you can’t get a bank account until you convert.
