yeah I may do that. Go back there and ask them if I could pay a fee for their trouble. It is an enormous hassle for them, and I would be happy to come back on whatever schedule they were OK with rather than attempting to do mass numbers in one day.

sadly they will just provide you with cards, but they do not actually do fingerprinting.

I doubt anyone else actually has the same issue, but just hoping anyone has found anywhere even in surrounding countries to go get fingerprinting done. There is a place in Japan, but unfortunately they were fully booked when I was there.

it’s not actually for a Visa. It’s for medical licensing in United States. But I figure other people may have had to get fingerprints for various other reasons and may know other places to get them done. I also assume you were joking, but I need 16 separate fingerprint cards done (2 each for 8 different state medical boards))

Depends on where you’re from. My understanding is for US passports at least, just being certified is not enough. They have to be authenticated, which requires sending first to the state, then to the federal government, and then to the Thai , embassy to be legalized. I ended up just getting a retirement Visa. I didn’t have to show any money for my kids, education visas.

I was gonna buy a printer but discovered there was a printing place across the street from my condo. Would take a whole lot of printing with them to add up to the cost of a printer.

yes any bank account to apply from OUTSIDE Thailand for the initial 90 days. But to get a 1 year extension you need to open a Thai bank account and deposit the 800,000 baht and have it sit for 2 months before you do the extension.
