So my LTR seems to have been rejected (according to the login page… I’ve received no info on why). Now I somehow need to get education visas for my kids before arrival in Bangkok on July 24 but the evisa site is apparently down. Any suggestions?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has reported that their Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa application seems to have been rejected without any notification of the reason. They need to secure education visas for their children before arriving in Bangkok but are encountering issues with the e-visa website. Respondents have indicated that education visas require proper documentation from a school in Thailand and have suggested obtaining assistance directly from the school upon arrival to facilitate the visa process. Some comments also addressed the confusion regarding the necessity of education visas following the rejection of the LTR visa.

where are you hung up with LTR? Did you receive BOI approval yet or is that where you are having an issue?

- ok, so you never made it to the visa process, looks like you were still in process to get BOI’s endorsement to then apply for the visa via MoFA. I was rejected at this stage as well. I had a law firm working with me and only found out reason when they went to BOI physically. The company I worked for, while having a portfolio in the millions, wasn’t considered a publicly traded or private company and therefore I was not eligible.

If your LTR was rejected, why would the children need education visas?

because they would have been covered by my LTR. Now they won’t. And they can’t start school with a tourist visa. So now until I can find the problem and reapply for the LTR they need non tourist visas for school. But I likely do not have enough working days left before we arrive in Thailand to get them.

I’m not sure what open door means. But yes. I checked those. Only email I’ve gotten is the one asking for more info over a month ago. Which I responded to and sent the info.

E-visa site is working fine.

But you cannot just "get" an education visa. You need documentation from their school in order to get an education visa. Are they already enrolled in a school who has told you they will support education visas?

yes enrolled in school and yes will support education visas. They are in secondary school. Yeah it wasn’t working from my phone. Working fine from the computer but…. I don’t have the school paperwork I need cause I didn’t think I’d need it. Sigh.
