The 6 months don’t expire. Once approved your DTV is valid for 5 years, you have to exit the country every 180 days. So after 6 months the visa doesn’t expire you just exit and re enter.
Dee ******
The visa is tied to your biometrics not the passport. That’s why when you activate by coming into Thailand all your metrics are stored under your current DTV.

@James *******
yes mine is always digitally on my phone. An e-visa should be just that - electronic

You can print the copy they emailed you, but I’ve never been asked as soon as they scan your passport the DTV comes up, just make sure in Bangkok immigration stamp with the exit date on, as they have been known to forget.

Anonymous participant I hadn’t I started Saturday, topped up 3k which is the minimum initially, but didn’t clear til Monday as it was weekend. I have used it and it does work fine.

Moreta I topped up using Revolut and they couldn’t add the funds for some unknown reason, despite emailing to say now accepting Revolut! It took them over a week to refund that back to me!

I’ve just started using WAIWIN can top up using any bank I’m using Revolut and scan works on both personal and business. Download the app.

Tag Thai you can only top up in foreign currency and Moreta only allows business scans and the majority of places in Samui are personal despite being businesses.

True can only top up in True stores or 7-eleven or with a Thai bank can’t use a non Thai bank.

So far WAIWIN has been the best.
