Yes but word it a little differently. Not "pay himself" but write that xyz company employs you, your responsibilities, gets a salary of x amount, and specifically state that you are allowed to with remotely in Thailand.

Provide company business license, EIN, registration docs.

This is separate from the 500,000 baht in your personal bank account requirement. Still need to do this as well. Can not be the business account.

Go to AIS store and get esim there. Not the tourist version, can download the app and top up monthly without going to 7-11 to pay.

Mine is 100gb a month at their fastest speed. 399 baht a month and includes a Thai number as well. They have cheaper plans, unlimited plans, etc.

I have both my home country and Thai numbers running at the same time. Works great

Yes, very easy. Received a new 180 day stamp.

The hardest part was the immigration officer had a difficult time trying to calculate the 180 days... 😁

Don't show the pdf when leaving but will likely need to show the pdf when you return.

Two completely separate things. One is a visa that allows you to stay for up to 180 days, and the 90 day report is to update immigration where your staying during that time.

Do you know if you even need a visa?? Which country is your passport from and how long do you plan to stay?

I ask because this is probably one of the largest determining factor if you even need a visa at all.

it's fine and quaint that you don't care but it's great that Brandon is sharing factual information to help others on this page that might want to learn the complete picture of requirements and restrictions for when they go to Laos. The information is relevant and helpful and that's what this group is all about.

Thanks for sharing your experience and thanks to Brandon for sharing the broader picture that others might need to know.

Once you have the visa you can go wherever you like within Thailand.

You do need to report your address to the local immigration office whenever you stay for more than 90 continuous days within the country.

And if you stay over 180 days within a calendar year, then you're supposedly considered a tax resident.

No. There isn't a deadline for the first visit under DTV. There is a visa validity period and you can enter at any time during that validity.

If you leave the country and enter the country again it is a "re-entry".
