Left the country on a multiple re-entry stamp on an ED. Applied and approved for the DTV.

Do I re-enter on the ED, cancel it, leave and then re-enter on the DTV.

Or, can I enter on the DTV and the ED automatically cancels out?

If I enter Thailand on a 30day Non Visa arrival and stay 25 days and then depart for Saigon for 25 days can I reenter Thailand for 30 more days! I already have my return ticket to USA from Thailand.

Hey, I am hoping the expertise in this group will be able to help me! I initially had a 30 visa which I extended by 30 days. This will run out on the 24th of march. I have friends flying out to meet me on the 22nd-29th. I intend on travelling through Laos/Cambodia/Vietnam after my friends have left and then coming back to Thailand.

Can I get another 30 day extension on my current visa (90 days in total)? and then when I fly back from Vietnam will I be able to get another 30 days?

I've been back in the UK for around 1.5 months and looking to head back out to Thailand ASAP but I'm extremely worried about getting let in this time with my visa history and sent back to the UK.

I came out in Dec 2021 and stayed until Dec 2023 with trips to Vietnam, UK, France, Germany etc in between visas for times never longer than one month. I have stayed with Coronavirus extensions, Ed Visa, Tourist visas and my last 2 were exemptions (they pulled me aside for the last one, didn't say much as I had a ticket to the UK in 2 weeks time but unsure if they typed details into the system against my name).

I am aware I'll take some judgemental comments on this but it is worth it for a grain of advice or peoples experiences. My girlfriend is there and it's quite hard having to let go if there's no path to get back (without getting married).

I have been looking into visa agents to guide me through the airport but haven't found anything totally reliable yet.

Hello! I had an VOA and after that a 30 days extension, so now I could be in Thailand till 13/2. Tomorrow I'll go to Laos for 10 days and after Laos I'll go to Vietnam. But I wanted to take a sleepertrain from Nong Khai (Thailand, just across the border with Laos) to Bangkok to take a flight to Vietnam. I was wondering if I'm allowed to get back in Thailand for the sleepertrain and get again a VOA?

I think I may have screwed up my chance to use my O-A for re-entry. If anyone can confirm please?

I entered Thailand on 16-5-2022.

Until date of the stamp in my passport is as per my health Insurance renewal date on 15-5-2023.

Am I now stuck for getting my two years with out of my O-A by doing a border bounce?

Hi everyone, I have 2 questions.

1) Does anyone know if it is required to obtain a visa online or elsewhere before arriving in Laos? I am doing a 2-3 day visa run from Thailand. In the past, I recall getting one on arrival but I haven't left Thailand in more than a few years (covid, then ED visa).

2) When I return to Thailand, will I have a problem receiving a 30 day tourist visa stamp (USA passport) if I have a letter stating a cancellation of my ED visa prior to my travels? My concern is that I have been in Thailand for so long without leaving that maybe it could become suspicious and I could get rejected.

Hi guys, need assistance on 2 things as per updated terms as I haven't been back to Thailand in a few years. During our stay we planning to head to Cambodia for a week, just not sure about the travel between with regards to exit and re-entry. Coming from South Africa so trying to figure out if the visa exemption will allow it or if we'd need to apply for a tourist visa before band.

Secondly what is the required amount per person in USD apon arrival, last time they didn't check with regards to funds but did provide hotel info and will do so again if they need, just want to be extra sure on the funding side before we head out incase they ask on arrival.
