TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, the main local carriers that support eSIM are AIS, DTAC, and True. Users have shared positive experiences with AIS, which offers eSIM plans that can be managed through their app, allowing for easy top-ups and plan selection. DTAC is also recommended for its variety of plans, including affordable options for long-term use. Buying regular SIM cards (or eSIM) from stores like 7/11 or official carrier counters is suggested instead of tourist options for better services.

I bought my eSIM from the DTAC website then enabled that and just keep topping up from the DTAC app.

It’s a pain to buy it from the website and it failed several times before success but I got there in the end.

I'm paying AIS 200b for 50GB 15Mpbs / mo. Goto an AIS store in the mall and see what they have. They will push an expensive unlimited plan on you, but if you don't need it, get service for 200b to 300b.

AIS has been good for me. You can just download the mobile app and purchase eSIM plans (and later top up) without visiting any store.

AIS... I pay 374 per month for unlimited data and it's great to use when I go to western countries as their roaming rates are cheaper than using other options there. I pay the bill in the AIS app with my home country credit card.

DTAC on the app : 349 baht 30 days 99 GB internet max speed

Go to AIS store and get esim there. Not the tourist version, can download the app and top up monthly without going to 7-11 to pay.

Mine is 100gb a month at their fastest speed. 399 baht a month and includes a Thai number as well. They have cheaper plans, unlimited plans, etc.

I have both my home country and Thai numbers running at the same time. Works great

Buy a SIM card in a
****
shop. I bought a true sim. And they also have an app. I use the app to validate my sim card when I’m not in Thailand so I keep my sim active. And you can use the app to get nice deals.

True , AIS, DTAC all telecoms support eSIM . If you suppose to use long term, do not buy tourist sim at airport, Buy a normal sim at
****
or some shopping center AIS/True counter with your passport.
