Seems to be a lottery there with reports of refusals due to not having an ID card. After the correspondence I had with them, I don't think I would travel there specifically on the off chance of exactly what they want. I guess if your already there, it's not exactly a wasted journey to try.

You can only extend a tourist visa in the last 15 days of your last entry stamp in Pattaya immigration.

In busy periods, Jomtien will refuse the extension until the last 7 days

You should of done the investment via BOI BEFORE you made the investment. As for the blue books, your name will NEVER be in the books, only on the Chanotes. Getting the bluebooks and chanotes can be a long process on new builds if the bank has any interest in the build or the land office isn't entirely happy. It could take months to get sorted out

You have to apply in the morning between 09:00 and 11:00, then you can pick your passport up again the next day between 14:00 to 15:00.

Make sure your early. Penang has a defined limit of how many they serve a day. I believe it's 100 people. Out of that though, agents appear to have booking reservations.
