If I arrive on a 60-day visa free entry, can I visit Lao with my thai wife , for a few days and re-enter Thailand for my flight home to UK ? ...Or will that be a problem because it will count as 2x60day visa free entries in first half of year?

(I have been using non-O for 3 month stays over past 7 years, bug this time its just a short holiday around songkran)

Did my first re-entry with DTV (workaction). I've spent 6 months in Thailand. Left for Vietnam for a week.

No questions asked by the IO. Smiled and stamped me for another 6 months.

Don't listen to the fear mongers, the ones that want to sell you border run services or just salty expats who paid for Elite or are just bitter.

Follow the laws, if your DTV application is genuine you won't have any issues.

If I fly to Hanoi Vietnam after 80 days in Thailand (I got 60+30 days visa exemption with a Canadian passport), can I fly back to Thailand on the same day and get another 60 days visa exemption? Or do I need to stay a few nights in Vietnam? Thanks 🙏

I think I know the answer but just wanted to double check. I did my last 90 days reporting on 20Feb. But I left the country and came back on 18th April. My next 90 days reporting would commence from 18th April, and not from 20Feb. Correct? Thank you.

Permanent residence or work permit also do qualify for re-entering Thailand, along with "fit to fly" certificate and possibly insurance

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me with some questions I have, regarding re-entering Thailand.

I am originally from Namibia. I'm in Thailand on a volunteer visa, but have to go home to re u my passport. Would I be able to re-enter Thailand on a tourist visa?

Im currently in thailand with extension of stay that will be calcelled on 23rd January. As immigration say i have 7 days to leave the country..I would like to stay few more weeks, do you know if i can just go out and in and get the ¹ month tourist stamp?
