your visa finished 9th December 2019. It's done, finished. You should of bought a reentry permit the last time you left Thailand in order to keep the october 2020 stamp alive you received on your last entry

Be careful before parting with anymore money, if you bought your insurance outside of Thailand. These Thai insurance companies seem to have no relationship with US and European companies, even though they have the same names, AETNA, AXA etc. They mostly can't or won't, issue the required insurance certificate and enter you on this required database.

actually it hasn't. Up until very recently, you could simply lodge your application at the consulates or email them first, then wait until they had received the OK from London. Now you have to email the documents and not walk in with them. Hence the need for them to put the news briefing out.
