Done it twice for my lady to UK and twice to Australia. Never had a refusal. University degree, secure job in Bangkok, owns house and two farms in Isaan, mother still alive and four sisters (all farmers).
Did one recently for my lady. Application itself is easy, it's just a little daunting getting the proofs together. She needed to submit a letter from her employer detailing length of service and salary, ownership documents of her land, bank statements and details of immediate family members. I provided the letter of invite (even though I haven't lived in the UK for about 35 years) staying I'll support her during her stay. It seems daunting but it's straightforward enough
Being Thai Airways they are more likely to adhere to Thai laws. However, only Thai Airways can tell you exactly what their policy is. Give them a call on +6623561111 option 9 for English. They answer pretty quickly
I've been queried by Singapore Airlines in the past coming from Australia, but the Qatar experience was the toughest yet. I think anyone on a visa-free entry doesn't stand a chance!
Which airline are you flying with? I flew from Berlin with Qatar earlier this year and they were savage with the outbound flight, and I have a retirement extension with a re-entry permit. I had to wait whilst they confirmed my visa status didn't require onward journey
This is Michael's polite and diplomatic way of asking "Was the driver a complete lunatic like most mini-van drivers, or did he keep his speed below 140km/hr?" 🤣
