TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion covers the latest updates about Brits seeking to return to Thailand, including the current flight availability, quarantine protocols, and visa categories that are prioritized for re-entry. Several commenters share personal experiences and insights about repatriation flights, quarantine hotels, and challenges facing non-Thai nationals. . Most of the repat flights to Thailand are Thai Airways. There's one to/from Australia on Aug 2.

The post says Thai and non Thai nationals from UK so I ask why are non nationals of Thailand being allowed to come from the UK yet other nations that are in better situations not being allowed. The post does not say anything about any specific pre requirements for non Thai .Just says non citizens who need to return.

. The details are on the website. I imagine it's the 11 categories of people who can apply for. COE

. I find it pretty clear to be honest. If a person is in one of the eligible groups he/she can apply for a COE.

yes the link says it but it needs to be in the post that was originally published so as to avoid any confusion. The actual post does not say to follow the links to see who qualified

. With only 50 available seats on each flight, they're going to want the smart ones! Probably those who know what "wear a mask" means! 🤣🤣🤣

. Mate the BTS is getting too crowded again. Better off without a mask. Just cough a couple of times, mutter to no-one in particular "haven't been able to shake that cough since I got back from China", and just watch how much space opens up for you!

I have been very tempted to cough a few times then say fairly loudly that I'm off for a covid test etc. Give me some space 😂

. He leaves the UK ambassador for dead. Al McKinnon is THE MAN in Bangkok. We should start a petition to get him a knighthood. Do you have any contacts at Buckingham Palace?

no Buck House contacts, he may be republican but not the American kind .He certainly goes above and beyond. My girlfriend says his Thai is quite good however she would like him to speak English a little slower. Allan sure is fully immersed in his role .

. I think 50 per flight will be more than enough for Bangkok ASQ to deal with. I thought they were already at capacity. Possibly more hotels coming online
