Some side gig for immigration officers. Pay them enough to take their hands off people's pockets.

Wrong, they never think they have enough! Pay them more and the extortion prices will rise as well. Human Nature? Guaranteed! 😖

(A) it would appear that they’re describing the entire Thai police 👮‍♀️ force and (B) is it really worth it to call??? No one speaks English and you’d have to pay a bribe just to get them to move their asses 🐴 🤷🏾‍♂️!!! Besides, my then wife almost died 4yrs ago when I called 191 for an 🚑 because no one could speak English— 😤

why do you expect a Thai 191 operator in Thailand to speak English? Ever thought of speaking Thai?

stupid reply!!! English is the world language and the global business language!!! As far as I’m concerned, tourists that come here have learned English as a second language. I’ve never been anywhere where it’s Thai as a second language yet! Let me know when I’m wrong!!! Have you ever seen a 1st time tourist come here speaking Thai!! 😂 😂 😂 it’s been my experience that they usually speak their language and Surprise “ENGLISH”!! 🎉
