Those of you who said "as long as the funds came from outside Thailand".. but I have a Thai bank, and my funds came from inside Thailand. But I was on a work visa. Set to be cancelled this month. So the funds will only be savings going forward. I guess I can take pics of my passport with the appropriate visa stamps to prove it. So in this circumstance, is it an issue?

Ok. So in Anonymous's example above, he would need to adjust his dates to where he's in country only 179 days if he does not want to be a tax resident?

Actually, I thought it was 183 days. If you want to get technical about it. I think everyone uses 180 because it's a nice round number. But from what I've researched, the true number is 183 days. Is this not correct?

So the TM30 my landlord is supposed to complete. So am I supposed to go ask for a copy from my landlord when I get ready to do 90-day report?

Too confusing. There's no clear answer. I thought you do 90-day report in person on your first report and all subsequent reports are online. And why refer him to do the TM47 online if you're going to immigration? The TM47 is the online report; if you do it online, you don't need to go to immigration, it's already done.

Another thing.. What about the "departing flight" section. As I understand, you can come into Thailand on DTV with just one-way, since 6 months is too far in advance to make your next flight plans. But arrival card asks for departing flight. What do we put? Or do we have to go ahead and schedule a flight?

Ok, so it asks me the country of passport, I'll put United States. And then it asks for current location, I'll put Cambodia. And that's okay? The third question, it says apply at, and it only gives Phnom Penh as an option. But I will not be in Phnom Penh. Do I have to go there to apply or anywhere in Cambodia? I was planning to go to Siem Reap.
