Doing my first 90 day report tomorrow in Bangkok and with what recently happened I just want to double check that the immigration office will be open? I also need a TM6 arrival form but I wan't given 1. Hopefully that's okay. I have everything else.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The immigration office in Bangkok is expected to be open for the 90-day report. You'll need to bring your passport, a TM30 receipt (which shows your registered address), and a filled-out TM47 application form for the 90-day report. It's worth noting that the TM6 arrival form is no longer provided, as it was discontinued years ago. Make sure to visit the main immigration office located at the government complex on Chaengwattana Road to get your queue number and proceed to the appropriate section for your 90-day report.
Too confusing. There's no clear answer. I thought you do 90-day report in person on your first report and all subsequent reports are online. And why refer him to do the TM47 online if you're going to immigration? The TM47 is the online report; if you do it online, you don't need to go to immigration, it's already done.
All subsequent 90 day reports in the SAME STAY can be done online, that is the official rule. TM47 is the name of the form for 90 day reporting, same for online and in person
now you have to do the first 90 day report in person AND if you exit/re-enter the country you have to do that following 90 day report in person too

you don't get TM6 on arrival they were discontinued years ago ๐ฎ
You need a TM30 showing where you are registered to stay in bangkok and you need a filled out TM47 application for 90 day report form. (using the address where your TM30 was filed as the address on the 90 day report form)
So
passport
DTV print out (if it was an eVisa)
TM30 receipt
Filled out TM47 90 day report form
You got HERE to the main immigration office out at the government complex building B on Chaengwattana Road. You want to get a queue number from the desk and go to Section A (the 90 day report room)
Wow man. Thanks for all the help. Appreciate it. Think I might arrive early and take grab there before bangkok peak traffic. Are there any nearby open coffee shops or anything else to wait?
that government complex building B is like a mall, there's a food court, 7 Eleven, Tops Market, barber, pharmacy, nail salon, Chesters, tons of coffeeshops etc
if you get there at 7am there are already going to be a couple HUNDRED people in line ๐ I don't think you have an idea of just how busy that office is
The 7 Eleven opens at 7am down stairs, and the coffee shops I think might open earlier
If its as busy as you claim let me know and I can be there 5am. Are they even available to give out tickets at that time or would I have to wait around for a few hours either way so theres no point?
you'd get a ticket (that lets you IN the immigration office when they open at 8:30) just like everyone (or at least the first 400 people get queue tickets to get in and everyone after that just gets in once they let those people in first)
They start giving those tickets to people out once they open the main complex doors at the south entrance at 5:30
Then once you have that ticket you can go do what ever until they open then door when they let people in according to the number.
I'm sorry mate lol last question. You said after I get my ticket I can do whatever? What exactly can I do? I'm trying to look on google maps? Is there anywhere to sit, eat, toilet and wait or I can even call me a grab to the nearest all of the above.

I told you that government building is like a mall, there's shops in the basement, and no there's no place else nearby to go to really
Figure it out. ..
Believe me you won't be the only foreigner out there tomorrow, there will be hundreds by the time they open the doors to the immigration office at 8:30
and for 90 day reporting they have a special line outside because you go to a different counter # to get the queue ticket once you're inside, SO tell them you are doing a 90 day report
