Hi. I submitted dtv application in Cambodia on April 27. Additional document request came on April 28, which I submitted to their request on the same day. Does that mean Day 1 is April 29?
Also, I checked the holiday schedule on the Phnom Penh Thai Embassy website and found only 3 holidays during this time - May 5, 12, and 14.
So if I'm counting the days correctly, it means Day 11 was May 16. And today (May 19) is Day 12. So should I still hear something today? I'm just wondering if I still need extend my hotel further.
Am I counting the days correctly? And is it still 11 working days for Cambodia? Anyone else in the same boat? Or have any insight? Much appreciated.
I would like to apply for the DTV without returning to the U.S. Does anyone have experience with consulates or embassies in Malaysia, Laos, or Cambodia? Success stories (or not) and details most welcome, thank you.
Hello. I'm a US citizen, but currently in Thailand. My bank statements and proof of address are in the US. As I was looking at the DTV application, it's asking me to apply thru the US Los Angeles office. But since I'm in Thailand already now, I was planning to go to Cambodia and apply through the website there. But do I need to apply through a Cambodian office and provide proof of address in Cambodia? Or can I still apply thru the USA, since all of my documents that I submit will have my USA address?
I see a lot of this scattered across various posts. Simply reply here with your date of application, and application details (soft power vs work action).
Once approved, reply to your initial comment with details.
Looks like the consistent processing time is 11 business days (counting the date of application).
I'm already in Thailand. it just took 5 days to get DTV on one of the weakest passport. All you need a complete set of Supporting docs for a quickest & Successive Results. Good luck guys
