How long are you staying? If you're staying less than 90 days and don't need to deal with immigration before you leave (like when getting a extension), just forget about TM30.

hotels do your tm30 for you. If you're staying in a private property, the property owner needs to do the tm30, or you go to immigration and do it yourself.

No, you don't have to do anything within the first 90 days, if you're staying in hotels.

The hotels register you as a guest in the immigration database every time you check in to one.

But you have to do a 90 day report if you're staying in the country for 90 consecutive days.

You have to do this in person the first time, which resets every time you enter the country.

They are great for basically every type of road, except if you're going off-roading or up very steep hills, like the areas outside of Chiang Mai.

But the people who sell the bikes in those areas can adjust the torque (?) so they work better for those specific roads.
