I disagree about the food, as I loved basically everything I ate there except the fast food 😅

But the visa difficulties in Thailand make PH a great option for anyone who has a passport that lets them enter on a visa exemption.

Cheapest and easiest are not combinable in Thailand.

You should look into the Philippines. You don't need a long term visa to stay there, technically legally, for up to 3 years at each entry.

Get a letter from her employer saying that she has been granted leave for the time she will be in the UK and that she WILL come back to work after her trip.

That is the most important piece of paper when applying for a visa for a Thai person.

you can check in much earlier than that, they just don't show the flight on their screens.

I've checked in 6 hours ahead of a flight at Suvarnabhumi.
