I‘m in Thailand for a little bit more than 5 months with a non-immigrant O retiree Visa that initially grants 90 days.

Now I‘m thinking about extension of stay.

My question is: what types of income will they accept?

Private pension

Rental income

Salary as it is a Sabbaticcal

Just read about an overstayer busted at an intl airport:

I have to do my first 90-day report in CM tomorrow (8 Nov) but need to fly to Bangkok early doors.. ie. early in the morning before immigration opens.. I'll then be flying out of Thailand for 7-10 days (from Bangkok) so need to resolve this before i leave CM.. I've completed the TM47 filing online today and it has been accepted.. meaning a 'successful' acknowledgement was received.. the application status is now showing as 'pending'.. how long is it likely to be until the status is updated to reflect an accepted or rejected notification.. if it isn't accepted before immigration office closes today then i risk being unable to do so in person.. with all the hassle that that would involve upon my return to Thailand.. should i just go to immigration after lunch and do it again in person?

Question - I have started the Non Immigration O Retirement Visa which requires 800k Baht in your bank which I have, I want to convert this to 67,000 Baht per month overseas income which I have to have a 12 month history so I can convert to this in 12 months. My question is do I have to keep the 800k Baht in the bank for the next 12 months while the 67,000 Baht come in to qualify? Hope this makes sense?

Hello everyone, I need to extend my tourist visa of 30 days before getting non immigrant-o (in process).

My question are :

- do I have to give a proof of my exit of the country in the given extended time when I apply for extension ?

- where is the fastest bureau to get this done in bkk ?

- will I need proof of where I’m staying in bkk?

I haven't received my visa yet and my departure is scheduled for the 8th. Originally, I had intended to stay in Thailand for a duration of 48 days, but according to the Eva Air website, they require a visa for boarding. In this case, would it be acceptable if I were to make a reservation for a flight to Vietnam after spending 20 days in Thailand?

Hi all! I have this question: at the beginning of September, a young man got into a very unpleasant situation, where his passport was stolen. The guy himself was almost constantly in the hospital; he was recently given a new passport. At the moment he has a long overstay of 44 days. Please tell me, is it possible to somehow agree with the emigration service on canceling the overstay for medically valid reasons?

Went to phuket immigration was approved for the non O visa but was told to come back on the last day of my 30 day visa extension from my visa exemption to leave passport there and pickup the next day. Does not sound right to me because it’s the last day and I will be without a passport for a day and on overstay for a day . Sounds crazy to me . Is this correct of them to tell me to come back the last day ?
