I am attempting to do the yearly renewal of Non 0 visa on my own. Are the forms for submission at Immigration (Chaeng Wattana) the same for application for multi entries ? TIA everyone
Thank you for the answers . I got it now . Appreciate the quick replies 🙏
So I will shortly do the first extension of my non O retirement visa at Chaeng Wattana based on 800k in a Thai bank. I got a list of the requirements when I last went to CW and it seems surprisingly short. It refers to:
Completed TM7 form with photo
Copy of passport (presumably data page and stamp page)
Bank certificate
Copy of bank account (I will take copy of up to date passbook and print out of transactions for last 12 months)
I was surprised that it doesn't refer to the TM30. Is this required? Is anything else needed at CW? Copy of lease? Map? Many thanks
Hi everyone, I entered Thailand on a 60-day visa-exempt stamp (arrived July 31, stamp expires Sept 28).
I received my school documents just today. But in this document from immigration page it says more than 15 days before visa expiration. Can I still apply directly for the ED visa (TM.87) at Chaeng Wattana tomorrow? Has anyone here applied in a similar situation recently? Any advice is very much appreciated 🙏
Hi, have got separate questions, that seem related but aren't - it is for different cases - basically one post for 2 queries for different people; Please note: all other requirements ( Bank, TM 30 etc) are in order. just need to know the actual practical way to do it with all documents in standing order:
#1: could someone kindly outline again the procedure for "change of status" from Visa Waiver 60 days - to Non-O (retirement) to be submitted at Chaeng Wattana (BKK) within at least 20 days from expiration from current stamp. What we've got as info is this: [members only] - Where is the actual application form on the Immigration Website? and does one need to submit a Queue Online appointment request too... [members only]/ - do we follow this?
#2: before expiration of the 90 days , what is the timeframe necessary to request the 12 months extension of stay ( Retirement) is to be done - one week / 7 working days sufficient?
What is the size of photo for visa renewal ( non-immigrant O for one year extension? Should I make an appointment for visa extension at Chaeng Wattana office? Thank you kindly!
Hello, I am looking to get a marriage visa. I deposited the money into my Thai account, am waiting for the 2 months that it needs to be in there to come up soon. I am struggling to find the paper work to apply and the location to apply though (in Bangkok.) I was wondering if anyone knew this info. I am currently on a Tourist Visa until November 27th, and would like to change to a Marriage Visa before then.
I am planning to get my first one-year marriage-based Non-O visa extension soon.
I live in Bangkok and I know I need to do it at the Chaeng Wattana immigration office.
I have a few questions, and I would greatly appreciate your help.
1. Regarding the necessary documents from the bank proving that I have a deposit of 400,000 baht in the account for the previous two months, what exactly are these documents and how many are there?
The list of required documents says:
- Letter from the bank certified the account in the bank of not less than 400,000 baht
- A copy of the bank passbook dated as of the application submission date, showing a balance of no less than 400,000 baht.
Can I go to any branch of my bank in Bangkok and ask for this letter? Do I perhaps need to request a separate account statement for the last two months (or more months)?
2. Another thing that interests me is this:
- Copy of House lease agreement (I have this of course), Identification and household registration of the owner.
Since I have copies of these last two documents, signed by the owner of the apartment where I live, is that sufficient because I don't have the original documents with me and the owner does not live in Bangkok?
3. The next thing I'm interested in are these 4 photos that are needed (two in front of the building and two inside the apartment).
What kind of photos are they?
Can I take a picture with my phone and then print it somewhere on photo paper?
4. And the last thing is this:
- Map of an applicant house in Thailand.
What kind of map is that, a printed google map of the area where the building I live is located?
Just wanted to share that I successfully got the Residential Certificate today at the Chaeng Wattana Immigration Office. I have a DTV. I brought them my TM-30 that my landlord gave me a week after I moved in; a copy of the info page of my passport; a copy of my visa and entry stamp, and that’s it. I checked the boxes for wanting to get a drivers license and buying a car and so they charged 400 baht which I paid right there in cash. They gave me a little slip as receipt and said it would reach me in seven days by post. Also, I’ve only been here for 42 days so the 90 day requirement/report was not necessary there. Hope this helps
