Can anyone confirm if they earn money back home (and pay tax) and in Thailand after 180 days do you magically get told by someone to file a tax return? Or you just don't?

If you have a tax-free pension in your home country such as Australia will that pension be tax-free in Thailand? It is essential to know if my pension of about US $2,700 or Aus $4000 a month with tax-free super will be taxed otherwise I will spend 179 days in Thailand and the rest in Cambodia or maybe the Philippines or back in Australia. Presently it's all up in the air with no clear result. No one seems to know.

My understanding with the new text policy is that any kind of money that you bring into the country, even if you've already paid taxes on it and another country Will be subject to taxes in Thailand...

So my question is if you are on a retirement visa but don't stay over that 180 day limit, which is the time in country needed to be taxed, is what you bring in during that 180 days subject to tax?

A question about tax residency status, please. I know if a foreigner stays 180 days they become resident for tax purposes. If they left Thailand before day 180, how soon can they return and begin another 180-day countdown?
