Can I apply for Spanish tourists visa while on Thailand DTV visa?

So I work for an oil company and get 3-4 months on then get 3-4 months off. I’ve been living in Thailand since November. How can I get the dtv with this work schedule? Does this apply as workation? I’m back in my home country try at work atm but would like to get the visa before I return.

Hi, so with the DTV do I need to maintain the 500,000 baht balance in my account throughout the entire visa period. Or do I only need to show this amount at the time of application to meet the financial requirement?

With employment contract are they looking at the salary to be the main source of said minimum? Asking because I have an official employment contract that is not full time and I also have private freelance contracts. I file taxes (USA) as a freelancer/my own business but also include this contract as an employee.

I’ve heard being employed by a company is a bit easier to file for DTV. However I have higher income from several sources being a private contractor.

What to do here?

I am thinking of applying from Vietnam. I am a US citizen with a American Passport wanting to apply for DTV for medical treatment. My husband and 2 children (3 years and 4 months old) are Bangladeshi passport holders. Will they be eligible for the spouse and children DTV visa? I will be the primary visa holder. How long will the total process be for myself and my family to get the visa if i apply from Vietnam? Will it be quicker in any other country?

Just to be clear, once you receive an email from the Thailand MFA notifying you than your DTV has been approved, do you then have up to five years to actually enter Thailand and get your passport stamped (not that anyone would actually wait that long)? And then, once you’ve entered, does that mark the start of your first 180 day entry period, giving you ten periods (or roughly 5 years) to stay in Thailand?

Maybe a dumb question, but is it possible to hold a DTV Visa (Thailand) and a Malaysia (nomad/MM2 visa) as can’t face returning to UK for 6months of the year due to 180day limitation on DTV

If not , what are most people doing to circumvent this process ?
