Can I apply for a DTV visa in Thailand if my employer is a family member?

Hi All. So I am about to apply for the DTV for remote work. The company I work for is owned by my brother though, and I am not sure if that could potentially be an issue.

I was thinking to combine my letter of employment, a pdf of the about us page on his website that shows me along with his other employees, and then the incorporation proof from the government website (which shows the company owner).

Do you think the fact that it's a company owned by a family member could be an issue?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on applying for a Digital Work Visa (DTV) in Thailand while employed at a company owned by their brother. They are concerned about potential complications due to the familial relationship. Responses suggest focusing on providing necessary documentation without over-complicating the application, as it is generally viewed as irrelevant whether the company is family-owned. Clear explanations and supporting documentation will likely aid in the application process.

Just write a letter explaining everything and include supporting documentation. If it's clear and makes sense, it should be OK.

Just supply what they ask for and don't convolute matters. If they want additional information they will ask for it.

I'm kind of thinking that might be a good idea. Was just hoping to expedite things versus going back and forth

Not much going back and forth with a e-visa.

Irrelevant. What's relevant is your salary, tax status, etc
