Parts of this article are a bit misleading in that there are a lot of definitive statements made in the quotes even though nothing's been finalized.

For example:

Question.. I just came in on a voa, when I apply for a 30 day extension it would normally be a standard 30 day extension, so you know if this would require a consulate letter or am I good to just show up with what is normally required?

Again I feel like unless someone is aware and has context around what was happening during the end of last year, this question may not make sense...
