Is there any view to extend the alcohol ban as yet, or are we still looking at May 1st?

Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community is discussing the potential extension of the alcohol ban in Thailand, originally set to end on May 1st. Comments suggest there is no clear decision yet, with unofficial sources mentioning possible extensions and lifts of the ban. Some members speculate about the implications of lifting the ban on May 1st, anticipating a rush to purchase alcohol. Current reports indicate a potential indefinite extension of the ban to curb the coronavirus.

Thailand Visa Advice has been addressed, appears we are onto And Everything Else now mainly a glimmer of light to legally flaunt the purchase of amnesty amber. Shoes polished, suit ironed, it's a big day if granted 🤣🙏🍻

1st May is labour day. Don't I know it! Going to be labouring all morning to clear the shelves like a bog roll hoarder.

Hmm, "Public Health Minister Anutin". Might have some sway. But it's a regional decision, as I understand it.
