Are Zebra stacking food carriers really that much better? They’re more than double the price of non-branded versions.
Definitely an everything else question 😅

Good everything question. This group so much better than the other group that only allowed questions for O-A visas.
Those "Pintos" (which is what the thai word for them ปิ่นโต sounds like) are good BUT the stainless ones don't have plastic bowls inside them so you can microwave the contents.
I saw some for sale that were stainless like Zebra brand but once you opened them they had plastic microwave safe inner bowls which was really convenient to warm up the food :)
Yes, I think it's higher quality thicker steel. I really notice the difference when using the soup spoons. If it's for a gift or decoration then consider the really pretty imprinted design ones.
Lol 2 types of people in this world: Those who see something they like and buy it, even if it's the last 3 cents they have.
The other sees something they're interested in, goes home and watches 6 YouTube videos about it, reads the Amazon reviews about it, sends the link to a few friends and asks them what they think about it, sleeps on it for a few weeks then calls out from work and spends 3 days searching the deep depths of the internet to find the absolute lowest price possible.
they last longer than others due to higher quality stainless steel.
Bit of history patent ran out on stainless steel many years ago so any steel that doesnt stain can be called stainless steel, especially from china.
For fabrication in industry you have designated grades but for kitchen ware can be anything.
Zebra kitchenware has 8.5% chrome which is a good grade and also has aluminium inside rather than steel. Having steel under stainless steel causes galvanic corrosion and will not last long.
Take a magnet with you to a mall and try on different brands basic rule of thumb is the less the magnet sticks the higher the quality is.
