There was something in the press about those with disrupted travel plans due to Corona being able to get an extra 30 day extension, but I do not know the details.

In the 2nd year, you will need a single or multi-reentry permit to avoid voiding your O-A visa if you leave the country during that time. .

My wife and I are about to do the same in Phuket. Was going to leave it until 30 days before expiry.

I find that after scanning the MRZ, I need to check and correct some of the data. Odd letters and numbers wrongly scanned.

I registered through this portal and changed password there as well, but use the TM30 app on Android to actual do our reporting. Scan passport (double check and correct the scanned as some data often wrong) , add the other data such as visa type, entry point, TM6, etc. and save. Then use the reporting function of the app to call up the reports, do a screen dump and print off. Have done it a number of times for me (British passport) and wife (German passport). Good luck.

You need to go to the local immigration office in the area where you currently are in Thailand, not an embassy????

Or he could register for the online service and then give you the user ID and password, so you can do it whenever you re-enter the country.
