I’m currently in Thailand with a non-immigrant type o visa (for marriage) and I want to extend it for 1 year. What’s the latest I can apply? How many days remaining on my current visa do I need to have? Also what’s the earliest I can apply? I heard you can’t extend until 45 days before your visa expires. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The latest you can apply for your Non-Immigrant O visa extension is on the date your current visa expires, and you can apply as early as 45 days before that date. It is advisable to apply at least 30 days prior to your visa's expiration to ensure a smooth process.

The last day you can apply extension is the day in your stamp, admitted-to-stay-until date.

Where did you obtain your Non O Marriage to Thai visa that you now have?

Where are you planning to get your extension of stay ? Which Thai Immigration office?

You need to stop by Thai Immigration in Bangkok CW and pick up their current list of requirements for the one year Extension of Stay Married to Thai.

As its nighttime now in Thailand, you will receive helpful replies in the morning specific to CW from Tod Daniels..and others.
