yeah, I think so. The rules to fly Singapore are complicated. VTL lanes, etc. It’s a nightmare reading info on their website.

thanks mate. Only direct flights to Phuket I can find are Qantas, Jetstar, and Thai Airways. Malaysia Airlines have a one-ticket to Phuket from Sydney with a stopover in KL. I won’t fly Qantas/Jetstar & Singapore. If you know any other airlines, please let me know. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

ah ok. That’s difficult. I haven’t seen any Thai Airways flights that connect with Bangkok Airways. Maybe Bangkok Airways fly out of Sydney. I’ll check.
