For the thai pass, do i have to chose alternative quarantine if i am recovered non vaccinated?

Hey I bought a 10 day Sha extra plus alternative quarantine package through Agoda which included the pcr tests too.

But when I was filling out the Thai pass today the name of the hotel was not in the selection list so I chose a hotel but supplied my booking reference.

Any problems here ?

About to book my 10-day Alternative Quarantine package for Phuket. Thai Airways airport office in Australia just emailed me saying passengers who are unvaccinated cannot fly into Phuket & that you will only be allowed the 10-day Alternate Quarantine in Bangkok. Is this correct? The Thailand Pass lists AQ Hotels in Phuket, so now I’m a little confused. Here’s the email:

“The Thai Airways airport office have advised, passengers cannot be unvaccinated to go to Sandbox Phuket. You will only be allowed Alternate quarantine in Bangkok 10 days.”

Question regarding flying from Sydney to Phuket doing 10-day Alternative Quarantine in Phuket… is it ok to transit through Bangkok? Or would I have to do the quarantine in Bangkok before going to Phuket? The reason I’m asking is that Thai Airways doesn’t fly directly to Phuket from Sydney, only via BKK (55-min layover).

Does anyone have any direct links for AQ hotels in Thailand that offer the whole 10-day quarantine package (PCR tests to your hotel included etc)? If I’m doing quarantine for 10 days, how can I do a PCR test if I can’t leave my hotel room? The Thailand Pass website gives AQ hotel suggestions, but when I go to those hotels websites, there’s no mention of PCR tests provided. Agoda is the same. I’ve heard some hotels provide all these services. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bare in mind I’m doing Alternative Quarantine, not Test & Go or Sandbox. This is the unvaccinated option. Before they reopen the Test And Go program . I had already got my 7 days AQ thailand pass . But , I now wanted change to Test And Go . Must I need reapply my thailand pass for Test and Go . Thanks

I was just thinking;

If you can fly with a letter of recovery and no test. And, you can enter Thailand without a negative test if you have a positive one and a letter of recovery, why would you still meet to do Alternative Quarantine or Sandbox?

Or can you not use a letter of recovery to do AQ and Bluezone?

Cuz if you can, and the test just keep coming back positive (which is why you have the letter) then what?

How long does it normally take for Thailand pass approval? I applied for test and go prior to them closing that option and still no approval after 4 days. I even wrote to the support email but no reply. Should I reapply for AQ as my flight leaves on Jan. 5th?

Booked one way flight for 10th Jan as retiring to Thailand. Applied, and submitted application, for 90 day Non O (for retirement) but couldn't get past the "return flight date" without putting a date in. I did but will it be a problem not having a return flight? Also I used previous hotel near airport for AQ but hadn't booked it already. Now I can't book as website greyed out on list of AQ hotels, can i book a different hotel and change visa application? Thanks
