Our tourist visa expires December 19th and our flight to Melbourne is 25th December

Are we best leaving Thailand before and reentry or just pay 6 days overstay fees ,

Just don’t want to jeopardise our return next year

we did ourselves .

We applied Tuesday morning as open 9am and collection is 2 days afterwards at 2pm ( Thursday)

If you need anything printed there is a mobile van outside of Thai embassy and they have printer and can take passport photos

they didn’t check for paid accomodation but did ask for guarantor and we put manager of our complex down plus we had copy of our condo purchase

We just returned from Penang yesterday and found it easy to get our tourist visa except for the fact we needed Bank Statements which we never needed prior to covid .Went back to hotel had printed and returned to Embassy 9am Tuesday morning and collected 1pm Thursday.

Just check requirements needed and then easy to do .

our 60 days ends September 3rd then extra 30 days will be October 3rd

Phil Jones Only problem is we don’t want to return until January and our visa expires October 3rd so we would be 1 month short
