TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is facing repeated issues with payment not being accepted during the application process for a Thai tourist visa despite checking with their bank and contacting the embassy. Commenters suggest various solutions including trying different payment cards, ensuring browser compatibility, checking card details, and using bank debit cards as alternatives for payment. Other tips include clearing the browser cache, using different devices or browsers, and even asking friends to assist with their cards.
One reason can be the browser. If you haven't done it already, try Firefox. Another possible problem could be, that they might not accept Debit-Cards, only "real" Credit Cards.
I often have issues with overseas transactions by card. Make sure name is exactly as on card. I.e. middle name or only initial if that's what's on the card. Also try typing name with no spaces
maybe it’ll improve and become seamless. I use various Thai websites for online purchases, phone accounts, bank accounts, news etc etc. rarely have or have had a problem😁😁
Also could be an internet browser issue of not popping up a window required for transaction. Try using a computer or tablet. I had this issue and had to switch from iPhone to a tablet and different browser. It went right through upon the change.
On another note, their system will check to see what country your IP address is coming from when completing the application and payment. So you have to be in the country of application either physically or virtually (VPN)
