Don’t know if anyone can help but I have tried several times to apply for tourist visa and when it come to payment my card will not be accepted even though I have checked with the bank and no problems there .

Called Canberra embassy and they told me to redo the application which I have done and same scenario ( payment not Accepted)

Therefore don’t know what to do next 🥶😭

I had the same issue.

They won’t accept Credit Cards.

You need to use a bank debit card and it should go through.

It did for me.

One reason can be the browser. If you haven't done it already, try Firefox. Another possible problem could be, that they might not accept Debit-Cards, only "real" Credit Cards.

Good luck.

I often have issues with overseas transactions by card. Make sure name is exactly as on card. I.e. middle name or only initial if that's what's on the card. Also try typing name with no spaces

Slightly, but it's good for people to know it so they can accept it as it is in future.

maybe it’ll improve and become seamless. I use various Thai websites for online purchases, phone accounts, bank accounts, news etc etc. rarely have or have had a problem😁😁

Try using your cellphone. When I occasionally had problems with Thai sites, it would work better on my cellphone versus laptop.

Also could be an internet browser issue of not popping up a window required for transaction. Try using a computer or tablet. I had this issue and had to switch from iPhone to a tablet and different browser. It went right through upon the change.

no. Just went back to the same one.

On another note, their system will check to see what country your IP address is coming from when completing the application and payment. So you have to be in the country of application either physically or virtually (VPN)
