Thanks. Let me make my question clearer. If the process takes more than 15 days and I reach the stamped exit date of the initial exemption, is the under-review paper they gave me enough for staying in the country until I receive the final answer?

While waiting for the Non-O visa to be approved (after converting from visa exemption), does the 'days out' in visa exemption freeze? I mean, will it allow me to stay till I get their answer, even if it takes longer than my initial day out in the passport?
