Hi All,

Can I apply for a Thai Non-Immigrant Visa Type O while traveling in the Philippines, or do I need to do it back in my home country? If it’s possible to apply there, is the payment made online, or do I need to schedule an appointment at the Thai Embassy in Manila? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can apply for a Thai Non-Immigrant Visa Type O while traveling in the Philippines. The Thai Embassy in Manila allows e-visa applications, but certain passport holders must demonstrate permanent residency in the Philippines. Payment for the visa is generally made online, except at specific locations like Yangon and Vientiane.

The embassy website should indicate if they only allow residents to apply.

There are only 3 locations that require payment in person, Yangon Myanmar, Vientiene Laos, and Savannakhet Laos. Every other location is online payment.
