Interesting question. If it was me I would write to the CEO of the airline explaining that their cancelling has cost you an extension plus hotels etc. Nothing to lose. I once complained to KLM about a not dis-similar issue and got a big refund. Nothing to lose. Who is the airline, if you dont mind telling us?

A government approved week long cooking course for the DTV? Assuming this is the case, it reminds me of coming to Thailand at the end of covid when some right grim hotels got approval for us to stay in whilst we got tested, and charged a fortune for the privilege. Suddenly I really want to learn Thai cooking, happy to pay quite a bit for the course….

Great news, thanks for the update. I got questioned when coming in last week due to having been on a visa-exemption just a couple of months ago. Flight entries each time. The officer reluctantly stamped me in, however did not say anything about getting a proper visa next time; going to anyway rather than take any risks.

I used the agent on soi 6 pattaya, job done. Theres quite a few agents, maybe try a recommended one? Good luck.
