I am wondering what peoples experiences have been when it comes to extending the DTV visa at the 6 month mark. I am mainly wondering if they are requesting proof of finances (the 500,000thb), like the did in my initial application.

I want to make sure I've got everything in order before I go in. I've read mixed information online but find this group has the most reliable information 😊

I want to move to Thailand for a year or two on a trial basis before applying for the DTV 5 year (if it truly becomes home)

What would be my best options for 1-2 years in Thailand? I would like to freelance and potentially work for and with Thai businesses while I'm living here.

I see a lot of options but I hope you lovely folks can help point me to the best options for my requirements.

Any experience with the Diamond Card 15 year visa?

Researching Non-OX visa for US citizen. Looks like they want 3 million baht in a bank account. I think that's $95,000 US. Have I missed something?

Has anyone applied for, and received, a 5-Year Thai Elite visa recently? Could you please advise me how long the process took? Thanks.
