Unless.you are an older guy who they feel has the cash to actually be a tourist and not just chilling out somewhere cheap, of course you are a marked man! Play by the rules as such, and it can be figured out! I just renewed my visa 60 days to when I leave after 7 months. A border run to Cambodia and a quick flight to KL.... the big boss at the airport was very cool and understood I am truly here to get away from the Canadian winters... have a plan dude and never over stay!!!

Traveling feom the west coast of the States. Try and book a late evening or early morning flight , like 1 or 2 am..... which gets you into Bangkok in the morning. Do not drink!!! Take a sleeping pill and chill out on the flight. When you arrive, buck it up and saty up until 11pm and the next day you will be almost swung around.

Open a bar like the thousands of expats before you! Then you can drink any profits away and become an alcoholic and lose your life savings in a few short years. Or.........invest what you have available if you have extra money. If not, come for a beautiful vacation until you have enough to retire here properly. DO NOT BUY OR OPEN A BUSINESS HERE.
