I'm a UK citizen. Can anyone advise on how to get the Yellow Book? Do I need to go the Bangkok UK embassy to get my passport certified first? Then get it translated? Is there a certified translator in Hua Hin? I live in Hua Hin so avoiding a trip to Bangkok would make this easier.

In order to get an extension on my non O visa for marriage I was asked to provide a document from the local Amphur called xxxx22. We were married in the UK 53 years ago and we have a notarised Thai/English document which is all we have ever needed up until now.

We have never registered our marriage with the Amour previously but in order to get the above certificate we must get my passport certified but the UK embassy.

Any advice? I want to go to the embassy in Bkk but I cannot find the site to make an appointment

My bank just told me they cant give me monthly statements in English. However, they can give me a report of the current amount of money on my account in English. So I was thinking of asking them to give me one at the end of September, another one at the end of October and another one at the end of November. I plan to apply in early December. Do you think the Vientiane embassy will accept this?
