Does anybody know what amount of Thai tax one would be paying on depositing 65K into a Thai bank with funds coming from my pension from a UK bank?

Hi everyone.

Has anyone here successfully obtained a Thai TIN (Tax Identification Number) while holding a DTV visa?

Does anyone have any experience with handling the taxes that we remotely workers are supposed pay if we stay longer that 180 days?

I'm trying to fill PND 94 form, as an individual contractor/freelancer on DTV. But they are asking for assessable income (which probably is 0thb for all dtv visa holders, according to this group - our income is not Thai sourced). Where should I type remitted money into Thailand? Where should I type the tax already paid in my home country?

I have been told by my employer that I am OK to work remotely in Thailand on a pert time basis 25 hours per week.

This suits me fine as I was going to retire/semi-retire.

Is anyone else doing this from the UK as I would like to know about the double tax arrangements and whether this forms any part of the DTV application.

I'm from Singapore. There is a double tax treaty with my country. I've already paid my tax in singapore in March 2025. Do I have to inform anyone that I do not have to pay tax in Thailand.

If I were to take out 1 million baht cash hypothetically ….let’s say and kept it in a safe in a house and then received DTV and lived of the 1 million baht (for two years let’s say)

Would I have to pay any tax?
