why not just get the proper visa in Thailand if you want to stay long term ? Geeze, all these border runs to game the system is what ruined it. One time is fine but just to keep doing border runs is not the way anymore.

if your unemployed you have no income. your total documented money for 5 years expenses is 40k. thats what you showed them. thats it. thats only $8k per year to live on. Thailand does not want poor foreigners. your budget per month on $8 k per year is $666. good luck.

that is my plan for my upcoming trip in october. 60 days , 30 day extension. The vietnam for 10 days then back to thailand for 60 days then fly back to US. I'm booking my outbound plane ticket before i return from vietnam. Ive never done a visa run before . I hope thai immigration lets me back in .
