I’m not sure where those “plenty of reports” are coming from. I’m speaking from recent first-hand experience: my DTV for medical treatment was approved with a single confirmed appointment, no 6-month treatment plan.

Requirements are applied case-by-case and vary by embassy. Presenting assumptions or second-hand anecdotes as fixed rules is misleading.

Sometimes real approvals matter more than online reports.

My eToro works in Thailand also without VPN. No problem at all.
