TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the possibility of obtaining a DTV (Digital Visa Thailand) visa for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Many participants believe it is possible, particularly if there's a medical certificate confirming the need for treatment due to low testosterone levels. Recommendations include seeking treatment at hospitals rather than clinics to ensure acceptance by visa authorities, with specific instructions on preparing documentation for medical treatment. Several clinics and hospitals in Bangkok are mentioned, including Vejthani Hospital and Pulse Clinic. Participants also discuss the costs associated with TRT and the necessity of having medical insurance.

I’ve heard of people doing it, but it seems like a bit of a waste because doing your own TRT treatment is super cheap. Literally a few bucks a week compared to going to a clinic. You just need to have the knowledge of your blood work and make sure that you’re getting regular checks

You will need Thailand Medical Insurance for sure. Just look on the Official Thaievisa for all conditions and requirements.

Funny if Thailand uses the wrong metrics (like total of sub 300ng/dl like the west does) to determine if TRT is ideal

they use this standard. I have trt medical dtv and my Levels were below 300. they didn’t care for more detailed documents because my doctors medical certificate clearly stated i require treatment.

Anonymous participant 541 I meant that total t doesnt really matter much. many guys with a 300 have same levels as a guy with 800 in terms of free

You’d likely need a 6+ month treatment plan through a hospital as clinics aren’t always accepted.

I got DTV with TRT , it’s actually one of the Most likely approvals if you have income or more Money than Minimum required and can prove a chronic low level in your blood. This is Prime example of what thailand wants for Medical DTV actually

why is your cost so high ? Do you get monthly blood Tests ? My monthly cost is 442 Bath for 2 Pack of testoviron plus around 50-100 Bath for syringes , alcohol Pads / Sprays etc. and extended blood Tests every 3 months for 4100 bath. My initial visit at the hospital I will probably change to a clinic now that I am approved , its way cheaper. My Price for blood Tests is already Price from clinic

Treatment plan just needs to include Physicians opinion, medication to be administered and schedule of treatment. example "On going follow up with patient for physical examination twice weekly for injection and hormonal control by blood tests every month".

it’s so cheap to do it yourself and easy as well. I wonder if there’s a way to skip the clinic fees.
