TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking a template for a custom DTV card, which is suggested to be the size of a credit card for ease of presentation to immigration officers. Various commentaries provide insights on card sizes, such as A6 fitting inside a passport, the preference for a clear barcode, and the necessity of QR codes over card presentation. Some users also mention alternatives to carrying the card, like simply showing a passport. An ongoing discussion highlights common practices and preferences among expats regarding DTV cards.

Just show your passport they have your records in front of them on the computer. You also have other stamps been out 4 times now never shown anything just passport and stamped. You don't have a card with other visas less stress more enjoy

A6 is slightly larger than a standard passport. I just made a custom one that actually fits neatly inside my passport. That said - all they care about is the QR, so it really doesn't matter what you have.

I made mine the size of a tv so that way I wouldn’t lose it. Immigration likes it. 👍🏼

Easier than folding a piece of paper up and having it in your passport?

I made one like this. The front is the QR code and the back is the entire visa. I used Canva to upload and design it. Easy peasy.

Anonymous participant 151 Read: E-visa paper (if any)

Anyone who applied for any Thai Visa using the Evisa online application system will receive their Thai Visa by an email that has the PDF Thai Visa in it. That's what it simply means.

I don't think they'd do it that small as it'd be difficult to read. I've heard about A3 size. Either way, in the printer settings you can choose which size you want it to be printed.

I think you mean A5? A3 is bigger than A4, A5 is smaller than A4

It seems so. The one I was talking about is similar to a passport (the travel document, not a photo) size.

sorry but A3 is even two fold bigger than original A4.

Mine is A6 - as others mentioned - and laminated for durability.

They don't read it, they just need to scan the QR code.

Same with passport stamps, their database on the computer is the source of truth.

Migration in Thailand doesn't need to read anything, right, but the airline clerks always read it thoroughly, because I always travel on one-way tickets, and they need to see a valid visa for letting me board.
