Your home bank could take some time to transfer the money to Wise which often accounts for the delay in getting your money. There are only 3 Thai banks that Wise will transfer more than baht to in one go. Over baht takes longer than or less. A credit card transfer of less than baht usually takes seconds. I did 3 in an hour and the slowest was 22 seconds.

for me bank to bank was not only expensive but after 3 monthly payments they closed my UK account as they considered that I was no longer resident in UK.

Wise is not a bank but I've had no problems with their service.

what I have said was exactly what I required for my non o based on being over 50. If your experience has been different it would not surprise me as offices around the Kingdom have varying requirements.

They will require a map showing where you live. Some want it hand drawn and others accept Google maps print out. If the map does not tie up with a tm30 report you are going to have a problem. Presumably you are up to date with 90 day reports?

Do any offices accept the bank book copy which clearly shows foreign transfers and their date?

Agent opens bank account. Deposits 0 baht. You sign a paper to allow them to take it out. A friend if mine actually changed the password before they took the money out. They were not happy but it ended OK. They can't take your money if there is none in the account.

look on Facebook market place. Lots of lovely looking Toyota Sportrider on there or you could join their Facebook page. Failing that tgerexare plenty if second hand car dealers everywhere.

Depends entirely on where you live and how much you want to travel.
