TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, currently in Issan, is concerned about the timeline for filing a TM30 report before submitting their NON-O visa extension application. They have never filed a TM30 and are unsure if they will incur any fees or face issues since they will be filing their extension application two and a half months from now. Comments from the community suggest that providing a map of their residence is necessary and that it's advised to file the TM30 as soon as possible to avoid potential fines.

They will require a map showing where you live. Some want it hand drawn and others accept Google maps print out. If the map does not tie up with a tm30 report you are going to have a problem. Presumably you are up to date with 90 day reports?

not for an extention based on retirement.

what I have said was exactly what I required for my non o based on being over 50. If your experience has been different it would not surprise me as offices around the Kingdom have varying requirements.

you're right (y) it's totally office specific as far as if you have to draw a map or not so the O/P may or may not need to depending on the requirements of his office

What is the reason you'd wait until you go for your extension to get it taken care of?

Just going over and file a TM30 now so you have it out of the way?

The max fine is 1600 baht but they usually just charge you 800.

OR

have who ever owns where you live make a user name an profile, add the address and file a TM30 for you online at the link on the main immigration website ..

which doesn't negate the fact you should have a TM30 filed on you for where you stay πŸ™‚

right if you're not sure about it, and may leave the country before your extension comes due not really any reason to run over get the fine and file the TM30 πŸ™‚
