Get the form from immigration and fill it in. If you speak very nicely and they like the look of you they MIGHT sign it there and then. I have never had to wait more than a week for the three I have needed.

I read the rules are changing again very shortly but cant remember date. Only a plf will be required for vaccinated unless the airline insist on pcr test. Thai Airways appear not to require a test pre flight.

I think there is confusion between bank book and statement. The book is not updated with all transactions and therefore might not record an infringement of the rules. A statement shows a continuous balance and all withdrawals and deposits leaving no time period unaccounted for. That is probably what he means by daily statement.
