he will have the 90 days stamp based on funds in home bank account which gives him the time go get the cash into a Thai account for two months prior to getting the 12 month extension. I had to visit at least 10 banks before I finaly was accepted with the help of my landlady.

no. The stamp is for 90 days with funds shown in home bank account. To get the 12 month extension you need to have the money in a thai account for two months min. My local immigration officers did not know this when I first applied and it left me with quite a problem as my current Visa was about to expire.

it is also my experience that the immigration officers dont know either so give out incomplete information which comes back and bites you later. Ask a good legal firm for the answers.

I've had no problems phoning UK on AIS using the cheap code with charges around 5 baht per minute. The code is
