Documents are fine.

Confirmed this with Labour Office then my coordinator took me to Immigration to see if they would issue Non-B extension with just the receipt... Of course the Immigration Official said 'No' but he did say that once the Work Permit is in my possession, come back to see him and Visa extension would be granted (once fee is paid) and completed within ½ an hour.

Thank you Ellie for your detailed response. That's what I thought. The new coordinator at the school hasn't been involved in this process before. He advised me differently, which created my uncertainty and post.
